Our Doctors
Dr. Misty McNeill, the founder of Prairie Path Foot and Ankle Clinic, is a foot and ankle physician and surgeon. Dr. Misty, as known by many of her patients, resides in Elmhurst with her husband, 2 young boys and 2 aquatic frogs. She completed her surgical residency in 2003 at Loyola University Medical Center and is board certified by the ABPOPPM and American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. McNeill loves the outdoors and when not in the office can be found running or biking on the Prairie Path. She also enjoys scrapbooking and can often be found cheering on her favorite teams...the Cubs and Blackhawks! Since she is an avid runner, Dr. McNeill specializes in the treatments of running and athletic foot problems and injuries. She prides herself in returning her patients to the sports they love as fast as possible. She has completed several sprint triathlons, the Chicago Rock and Roll Half Marathon, Walt Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon and several 5Ks. She tackled the whole 26.2 in January 2012 and ran the Walt Disney World Marathon in Orlando and is planning on doing it again for the Chicago Marathon in 2012. Being a mother herself she also enjoys treating pediatric / children's foot issues and received special training while at Loyola University allowing her to provide her patients the highest level of care.

Dr. Saera Arain, a mother of 5, was raised in Oak Brook where she currently lives and is an active member of her community. She performed her residency at Hines VA hospital , affiliated with Loyola University Medical Center. She completed her surgical training at Rush Oak Park Hospital and Rush University Medical Center. She enjoys traveling, cooking and outdoor activities with her children in her spare time. She has completed two triathlons and ran in the Schaumburg Half Marathon in 2010.
Our Staff
Erica Hough, the office manager at Prairie Path Foot and Ankle Clinic, spends most of her time at the office behind the scenes making sure the clinic runs like a well oiled machine. She enjoys any interaction she may have with our patients since she is convinced we have the best patients around!
She is a mother of two great kids and married to her high school sweetheart. In her down time she enjoys traveling, concerts, and anything to do with the outdoors in our short Chicago summers. Since working here she has been inspired by the patients and staff to dust off her running shoes. In 2010 she started off with Elmhurst's 4 on the 4th Race and then ran the Bix 7 in Iowa. She eventually worked her way up to finishing the Monster Dash Half Marathon on Halloween 2010 and is now registered for the 2012 Chicago Marathon after enjoying some races in between.
Ryann Jackson is the head medical assistant at our Elmhurst location. Some of her day to day duties include assisting the doctors and patients with treatment and making sure everyone stays on time! She received her Podiatric Medical Assistant Certification at the Midwest ASMPA conference in the spring of 2010. Currently, she is working on becoming a Certified Pedorthist that she hopes to complete by 2012. On her days off she loves to play tennis, do yoga and hang out with family and friends.
Mariam Paredes, our resident biller, lives in Villa Park with her husband and is fairly new to the Chicago area. She is pursuing a degree in Marketing and will complete it in 2012 from Elmhurst College. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, traveling and following Detroit sports teams. Inspired by the patients as well as her coworkers, Mariam has decided to give running a shot and can be found stomping the path on those gorgeous Chicago summer days.
Jeannie Mikso is our patient care coordinator. Happy wife to John since 2009, crazed mother to 2 daughters and 2 stepdaughters, resident of Western Springs, graduate of St. Mary’s College Notre Dame and University of Phoenix, and currently in pursuit of an MS in Healthcare Management. As a cancer survivor since 2008, she is dedicated to the pursuit of health and wellness and enjoys learning, expanding boundaries and the awareness that comes with that journey. Wellness is paramount in her ideology and she gains satisfaction and fulfillment seeing others feeling well, especially after seeing the Doctors! A huge NFL fan, she and her husband watch every game, even on DVR if necessary. But…they are loyal Bears fans. They love to spend time together doing anything and everything and are content with life. Each day is never taken for granted. Remember, it’s not “What if, it’s what is!”
Sandy Casas is Dr. Arain's medical assistant.
